Informational Program on Property Taxes

Mayor Eidam is hosting an informational program on property taxes presented by Thornton Township Assessor Cassandra Elston. The event is next Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 6 p.m. at the courthouse of the Lansing Police Dept., 2710 E. 170th St. Ms. Elston will cover reassessments, equalization factor, tax rates, exemptions, appeals process & more. The information presented is pertinent to all residents of Lansing, regardless of the township in which they reside.
